I was very excited when I purchased this iPod, escp Great!! when I got it cheap for $90 dollars from Warehouse Central, even if it was used 16 GB capacity for 4,000 songs, 14,000 photos, or 16 hours of video When my iPod came, I was very happy to see that the iPod was in great condition, except for some smudges and light scratches on the screen Rating 5 However, the earphones that came with it were BAD!! The gray covering on the part that goes in your ear were peeled off, the little thing in the middle of the wire which can adjust the spacing between the two wires was CHEWED UP, and the worst part? I bought these to use at a huge resort we went to in Dominican Republic Works well for medium range For shortish range (3-5 city blocks) they work perfectly 22 Channel GMRS with Up to 20 Mile Range They got pretty static-y and sometimes wouldn't work from our room all the way to the beach to tennis courts which were a good 15 minute walk in either direction with a bunch of buildings between Rating 4 As it says in the directions they need a sight line to work optimally 2009-04-02 They are well made and a good deal The range is not as good as stated Just okay Actually very weak 22 Channel GMRS with Up to 20 Mile Range Good size of walkie Rating 3 2009-03-31 We bought this set to talk to our in laws where they live 2 1/2 miles from us and we live in a suburb It has not have 20 miles range!
